After a productive day on Monday Mother Nature decided that the Equinox should be celebrated with a couple of days without work. Yesterday, the last day of Winter, and today, the first day of Spring, saw cold, wind and snow all along the lake shore. I've been told there will be no work until Thursday.
So, to fill today's "space" I thought I'd post a couple pictures comparing what the cottage looked like before we started this undertaking to where we are now.

what a great balancing act the cottage has been doing during these "rest" days. hope work can resume tomorrow. we can't wait to see it in person in a week!!

ReplyDeleteI'm amazed at this work. It truly is awesome and I thank you for posting all of this information. If I have to one day I won't be averse to lifting a house to place a basement or redo the lower structures.
